Your data is used to plan personal events and manage your account. Additionally, we keep you informed on our mission and will use it to deliver the best customer service.

When having registered, planned or booked mycapa.city we may send you transactional emails, for example to remind you of a reservation or ask you for a text or photo-based review.

With your consent we will share a briefing with locations (such as restaurants) in order to streamline to process with third parties.

How safe is my personal data?

mycapa.city is committed to protecting the security of your personal data. We use a variety of security procedures to help protect your personal data from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. For example, we store the personal data you provide on computer systems that have limited access and are in controlled facilities.

How will the information be used?

Information provided for reservations is solely used for that purpose. We will send you several emails related to your order such as next steps, missing information, confirmations and cancellations. In one of those emails we may ask you to opt-in to receiving marketing related information.

Information provided for checkin is solely used for that purpose. We will ask you to give consent to the use of this data for source and contact research of the GGD (Dutch Municipal Health Services). We will also ask you to give consent to the use of this data for warning in the event of a possible coronavirus outbreak.

When signed up for our newsletter we use your data to contact you with newsletters, marketing or promotional materials and other information that may be of interest to you. You may opt out of receiving any, or all, of these communications from us by following the unsubscribe link or instructions provided in all email we send.

How long will the data be stored for?

If you plan or book an event with us information provided for planning that event is saved forever. Upon request, we can delete all your information.

When you do not choose to use the service or cancel your order the personal data will only be stored for a maximum of 4 weeks. We anonymize the data after that period for analytical purposes, but it will not contain any personal information.

When signed up for our newsletter we use your data to contact you with newsletters, marketing or promotional materials and other information that may be of interest to you. You may opt out of receiving any, or all, of these communications from us by following the unsubscribe link or instructions provided in all email we send. Deleted subscribers will be terminally deleted after 2 weeks.
